Wormy hotdogs????

I think I saw these ina KIDS magazine and then maybe on Pinterest (my new addiction) so one day while having NOTHING to do...I whipped these up for lunch for Shawn. He LOVES noodles and hot dogs so I thought what a wonderful invention for him!

I put some spaghetti sauce on them and he ate them up. These were the light hot dogs so he wasn't too impressed with those but he loved the noodles :) Anyways...just a lil' fun activity.

Valentines Day 2012

Since daddy works out of town and isn't home for during the week...it was just me and my 2 favorite littles. I have wanted to do this FOREVER...we made our own pizza's from scratch. The kids had lots of fun and it was YUMMY! we used the Jiffy pizza dough in the blue box...next time I want to try the dough from Trader Joe's.

And of course....Some thank you cards with homemade chocolate strawberries for Savannah's teacher.

Swaps- Red and White

This swap was one of three that you could chose from. There was red and white, red and black, or black and white. I chose obviously the red and white swap. I could only use the colors red and white. This is what I came up with. I will post later the cards I get in return.
While I had the "stuff" out I made this for Savannah's piano teacher, Mrs. Burdett. Her father is not doing so well :(  (he passed away on Februaury 12th)

Love how she layered the inside with the butterfly edge

More Mystery!

This one was my favorite that I got back

Here was our last months one...It was the most difficult so far because it was not an image that I would ever chose, it was a weird size, and the image itself was confusing. But after getting the different cards back.....I was like..."Wow, why didn't I think of that?" I didn't take a picture of mine before sending them in, but I cut out the window and put a clear film on it to look like a window. I am really enjoying this mystery swapping, so much that I joined another group. :) Thanks for stamping by!

Mystery Image Swapping!

This was the one I created
For the last year or so I have been in a swap group on SCS. It is really fun and mysterious...woooo....Every other month there is a new hostess that mail out 6 surprise images and then we create 4 cards and send them back to her. Then she keeps one for herself and we get three different cards back. I like it a lot becasue 1) it keeps me stamping and 2) the ladies are VERY creative and talented and I love the cards I get back. I decided to share a few with you :)

This one was my favorite. I loved the layering and the inside

Christmas time is our favorite!

I definately have to say that around here, Christmas is the very FAVORITE holiday! We start decorationg on Thanksgiving weekend and S-T-E-R-E-T-C-H it out as long as we can! Our family tradition has always been to open presents and gather with my family on Christmas Eve, but this year my brother changed it up! We had a Christmas brunch instead, which was so FUN! My husbands family always celebrates on Christmas Eve also which made it very difficult for us to do both and then nothing on Christmas Day! So this year was extra special because we got to spend time with both families, with no stress, and for a longer amount of time :) I was a happy girl!

Making tamales is a BIG part of our Christmas and about 4 years ago my friend Gloria and I started making them together...last year my mom got involved also. This year I even got invited (kinda sort of) to Steven's family tamale party...thanks Florie ;)

At Steven's sister is where the Christmas Eve party is held at. We sit around talking and eating until midnight...then everyone gets on thier knees to say some Hail Mary's and Our Fathers. I really liked doing this with them all...since we are practising christians...but I was born and raised a Catholic....it teaches my children something from my past. Then Santa decides to show up and passes out a special gift to everyone. Then the presents are distributed (mostly to the kids) and the madness begins. My kids really got spoiled this year...thank you Tia Becca and Tia Florie...you da best!
