An Award and a BYE!

Well we had a pretty good time at the expo this weekend. There wer some talented people there! The one hint that I got that I will share with you was from Stampin Fools. There cards were BEAUTIFUL! They said they stamp everything in Versa Mark and emboss with black powder- boy it really made thier cards POP! I will be sure to do that from now on.

We got a lot of potential customers- so I hope they learn to love SU! as much as I do. When i came home to check my email- I saw that I received an awesome award from Denise- I love her (kinda weird- seeing as how I have never met her, but I hope that I will get to meet her at the SU! Convention.) Which leaves me to my goodbye. Tina and I leave Tuesday morning and will be gone thru Sunday. So TTFN! Be sure to check back to see what I have to share when I get home!
And I am passing this award along to Kylie and Sue- who are both;a regular visitors to my blog and live in another country!

Crafty Monkey - Kids Challenge

Well Savannah (my 8 year-old) wanted her own blog and to start making some cards. So we found crafty monkeys for kids 16 and under. This was her first challenge. It was a summer card- look at the detail on the boat- she colored on the stamp and made it multi- colored. She makes her mommy so proud!

And I pic of my baby- He loves WATERMELON- Can't wait to scrapbook these pages!

Just another fun day at the Esqueda home. What can you do but appreciate life- all of it- even when you are sitting there blogging.... minding your own biz... and bam- poof- blew! Your computer blows up on you. A brand new HP desk top Pavillion- last night- sounded like firecrackers- and then smoke and everything went black! So now I am on an older one we had in the closet. We just keep on truckin'! I did lose tons of pictures :( Please keep us in your prayers as we have to deal with HP- we have had to deal with them before and they are a horrible company in keeping thier end of the bargain! They are supposed to call tomorrow- we'll see???

My very good friend Pam (aka... piecakesj on splitcoast) came over today to help me get ready for the scapbook expo and LOOK what she made me. We are doing the exclamation point -thank you card for a make-and-take and so she thought it would be neat to show what else you can do with this pick a petal set. I am so in love with these cards (thanks to the original artists) and even more in love with PAM! I can't believe how wonderful you are!!!

And then since her precious little 3 month old- Kieran was still sleeping she busted some of these cute little peppermint patty purses for me also- wow you just can't get any better than her!

Up for a swap?

Well I decided to do a swap with my SBS sisters- but since only one of them is interested so far I figure I would open it up to everyone. I want to do a masculine birthday swap. You must do your absolute best work!!! It has to have at least 2 layers and at least one type of embellishment. If your interested let me know. You will send approx. 10 cards of the same design to me with another SASE - so I can swap out the cards and send you 10 different ones back. Sound good? Let me know.
