Happy Birthday Big Daddy!

Well- Nov 30th was our "Big daddy's" birthday- which was Sunday. We went to church and out to lunch with our wonderful friends Leah and Jeremi. I woke up early and made chewy, fudgy, yummy brownies. We topped them with soft serve ice cream and marshmellow topping and whip cream (for a generic DQ- brownie earthquake) and sang to him! For his present he got $3000 worth of tools for $500 (a friend was selling them because he was losing his house :(

In celebration of 1,000 hits and my DH birthday I was giving away a stamp set. So I asked my DH to pick a number between 1-10 and he picked 6! So that is..... Bunny B! I don't see a way to get to your blog- where you linked mine? Send me your blog name and your addy so I can get your surprise out to you! Congratulations!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween to all my little ghouls (Gurls)!

Hope you have a safe and happy one- I made 56+ cupcakes and counting for classroom parties tomorrow. They are sooo cute- I rolled the sprinkles around the edges. Check em out!
My little bit of Samantha's tips- Use Mayo instead of oil in all box cakes- it makes it sooooo moist! I use 1 cup of mayo instead of the 2/3 oil. Also, my friend Judy just told me a tip from godd ol' Martha she learned years ago- Cut the bottom out of the pumpkin instead of the top and 90% of the stuff - gunk- pulp- comes out- then just put a candle on your cement and put the pumpkin over it- WAHLA!

Then of course my lil' munsters had to make theirs. Get some treats for all your tricks- and have fun!

Who is your "Front row friends?"

My GF from La Quinta, Michelle, has started a new blog with her "Front row friend", Linda. This is the type of friendship that is very rare. I am a bit jealous of their friendship I have to admit. But if Linda is anything like Michelle- it's no wonder they are BFF's and FRF's!!!!

Visualize your life as a stage, and the audience is full of your friends, family, acquaintances. Who do you want in your front row? Your front row should be reserved for people in your life who support you, encourage you, tell you the truth in love, and cheer you on. These are the folks who know your strengths and weaknesses, and still love you! Many times, the wrong people may be in your front row (people who aren't supportive) and the right people/friendships may need to be given more time and energy. This idea really resonated with us. We've been friends for a long time, and discovered that we are definitely in each other's front row.

Head on over and visit their blog- I am sure you won't be disappointed.

Sorry blogging has been few and far between and now NO pics. My sweet, precious, bouncing baby boy- ate my camera- and it didn't take to well to his DROOL! So I guess I know what I will be getting for Christmas.
